The important one is the first section. The rest is ordinary.

This is reference information, not a diagnosis
ExplainMyCar publishes general automotive reference information. It cannot inspect your vehicle, and nothing here identifies which part on your car has failed.
A trouble code records what a control module measured. Several different faults produce the same code, and confirming which one requires testing the vehicle. Do not replace parts based on a code alone, and do not treat driveability guidance here as a guarantee that a specific vehicle is safe to drive.
Vehicle repair involves real hazards — fuel under pressure, hot exhaust, moving belts and fans, stored airbag charges, and high-voltage systems on hybrids and EVs that can be lethal. If you are not equipped to work safely on a system, do not.
